Graco hit the road in 2015, hosting five Demo Day events throughout the United States. The EcoQuip Demo Days tour debuted in Chattanooga, Tennessee in late June and wrapped up in Houston in November, attracting more than 21 exhibitors and 150 attendees.

“We were very pleased with the turnout at these events,” said Graco Marketing Manager Aaron Craig.

Rather than hosting an event to show off their latest product, Graco’s primary objective was to educate contractors about abrasive blasting topics, giving presentations on how to achieve the best profile and expounding the benefits of vapor abrasive blasting.

“Our goal for these events was to educate contractors on best practices for abrasive blasting,” said Craig. “There isn’t a dedicated blasting resource out there, and if Graco can help to move the industry forward, that benefits everyone.”

Other top industry vendors joined Graco on tour, exhibiting their products to abrasive blasting contractors. “The support exhibitors was outstanding,” said Craig, giving special recognition to companies that sponsored all five events: BlastJournal.com, Barton Garnet Abrasives, GMA Garnet, Armex, Chlor-rid and HoldTight.

Although the highlight for many of the contractors was the demonstration of the EcoQuip vapor abrasive blasting unit, Craig said the true value for contractors was the educational content designed to help contractors grow their business.
